KCETB is committed to developing its new quality assurance policies and procedures in line with its strategic goals and priorities as outlined in its KCETB Strategy Statement. The three strategic goals are:
- Goal 1: Improve the learning experience and outcomes for all learners
- Goal 2: Ensure that all our education and training services meet high quality standards
- Goal 3: Strengthen our links with the wider community.
The development of a comprehensive suite of common quality assurance policies and procedures for the ETB will be a long-term project; as new common policies and procedures are developed and approved by the appropriate governance structure, they will be published on this page, and will supersede the existing legacy policies and procedures which are currently available in each centre.

Legacy Quality Assurance Policies
Following the amalgamation of Carlow VEC and Kilkenny VEC and SOLAS is currently operating under a number of legacy quality assurance agreements with QQI. KCETB is in the process of developing one new overall quality assurance agreement with QQI for the entire organisation.
