I have observed plagiarism in assessment material submitted to me but I am not sure how serious it is. How can I check?The best thing to do is to consult the Plagiarism Spectrum. This will help to categorise the level of plagiarism and provide guidance when reporting the allegation.
I suspect that assessment malpractice has occurred and I am not sure what to do. Where can I find more guidance on this?There is a detailed procedure on how to report assessment malpractice. The level of assessment malpractice will determine what the next steps are.
I have detected assessment Malpractice but I am not sure what to say to the learner?Confronting learners with allegations of assessment malpractice can be challenging. There is a procedure that provides guidance on this.
I have reported assessment malpractice allegation. What happens next?Depending on the category, this may be handled in the centre. More serious allegations are referred to QA. The Academic Integrity Committee may also be involved. All investigations are conducted as outlined in the procedure.
A learner in my class group wants to appeal an assessment malpractice allegation. What should I do?Learners can appeal when allegations of assessment malpractice have been deemed ‘substantiated’. There is a procedure for this with more information.
